Delete Your Account

Applies to: Patente by BongoItalia (Android package com.bongoitalia.patente, iOS com.bongoitaliapatente)

You can request deletion of your Patente account and personal data directly from the app. This page explains how, what gets deleted, and what to do if you no longer have the app installed.

How to delete your account in the app

1. Open the Patente app and sign in.
2. Go to Account.
3. Tap Delete Account.
4. Choose a reason for leaving (Pass the Test, Privacy Concerns, Not Useful, Account Issues, or Other).
5. Confirm the request in the dialog that appears.

What happens after you submit a request

• You are signed out of the app immediately.
• Your account is scheduled for permanent deletion after 60 days of inactivity following your request.
• If you change your mind before the 60 days are up, contact us using the details below and we will cancel the deletion.

What gets deleted

• Your profile: name, email, phone number, date of birth, gender, city, group/driving school affiliation, and profile photo
• Your quiz and exam history: answers, attempts, results, favorite questions, and saved vocabulary

What may be kept, and why

• Anonymous, aggregated diagnostic and crash logs already collected before your request, which are not linked back to you individually and expire automatically (up to 90 days for crash logs, up to 14 months for aggregated usage analytics)
• Records we are required to keep by law, for as long as that legal obligation applies

Don't have the app installed anymore?

You can still request deletion without opening the app. Contact us on WhatsApp and tell us the phone number or email your account is registered with:

We will verify your identity and submit the deletion request on your behalf, following the same 60-day process described above.
